Trunking System
Cable trunkings are used to contain wires from final distribution boards to wiring points located in a given floor area. The wires could be power or data depending on the user requirement. As the application is generally indoor, the requirement calls for trunkings to be manufactured from pre-galvanised sheet steel, with certain minimum requirements from a thickness and galvanizing specification. Altair trunkings are manufactured to BS4678 and in various other sizes to suit site requirements and conditions. Special thickness and dimensions can be made available on request. Trunkings are available in various finishes like pre-galvanised, epoxy coated, stainless steel etc for protection from a corrosive atmosphere.
